How Sex, Drugs, and Violence Intersect with HIV Prevention for Women

Dr. Meyer is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Yale AIDS Program.  She is a practicing physician and maintains board certifications in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Addiction Medicine.  Her investigative agenda focuses on developing, testing and implementing HIV prevention & treatment interventions for women in: criminal legal systems, drug treatment centers, & domestic violence service settings. Her clinical work & research is motivated by her experience working as an HIV care provider at Connecticut’s only prison for women.
