Please join us for a panel showcasing RTI’s work in addressing sexual assault during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to welcome Jacqueline Ndirangu and Dr. Hannah Feeny as our panelists.

 

Jacqueline Ndirangu, MSc, will be presenting about her work on sexual assault among participants in South Africa. She is a Research Public Health Analyst with the Substance Use, Gender, and Applied Research program and her portfolio includes work related to PrEP uptake and adherence, as well as sexual and reproductive health, among adolescent girls and young women in South Africa

 

Hannah Feeny, PhD, will be sharing literature and work focusing on the challenges faced by victim service providers during the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in the prevalence of sexual assault and violence during the pandemic. She is a Community Psychologist in RTI’s Victimization and Resilience Research Program. Dr. Feeney has expertise in community and systems’ response to sexual victimization and help-seeking behavior in survivors of gender based violence.
