  1. WomenNC and the RTI GGC Mentor-Mentee Partnership

WomenNC and the RTI GGC formed a mentor-mentee partnership in which affiliates were matched with five young scholars to serve as mentors for the 2018-2019 Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) Scholars program. The 9-month leadership program provides students in North Carolina’s colleges and universities with an opportunity to complete an original research project, receive training related to the research process, as well as topics such as public speaking and advocacy, and present their findings to local and global communities. The mentor-mentee collaboration is ongoing and so far, has been an outstanding and fruitful partnership. Stay tuned for an update!
