Global progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals is in the spotlight as global health leaders get ready to convene for the 72nd United Nations General Assembly. The drive for Universal Health Coverage and the integration of health systems and services are critical components of achieving the SDGs and ensuring equitable, high quality services for communities around the globe.
Earlier this year, RTI hosted a discussion on integrated health service delivery that explored perspectives critical for successful integration such as people-centered approaches, governance, public-private collaboration, health information, and financing. This panel further examined integration as a critical means to end maternal and child deaths. The panelists also focused in on critical components such as the integration of malaria elimination efforts and nutrition for early childhood development.
