Ana Perez, Associate Director of the RTI Global Gender Center, is a committed gender equity advocate, and dynamic global business leader that brings over 20 years of experience in the development and private sectors and nine years of direct experience on gender issues in the energy sector.

Ms. Perez led the design and operationalization of a gender integration program for a large private energy company that transformed its operations into a more equitable work environment for women. She is well versed in the latest trends in gender mainstreaming strategies and approaches, particularly for organizations in the energy sector. Ana currently serves as LEED – Energy - Senior Gender Technical Advisor at RTI.

Ms. Perez is a certified ILO – Participatory Gender Audit (PGA) facilitator and has completed gender assessments in the Middle East, Mongolia and most recently in Rwanda. Ms. Perez is a public speaker and advocate on gender equity and social inclusion issues, having led the curriculum development and facilitation of gender workshops around the world.
