Jennae Bulat, PhD, is a Director of Teaching and Learning at RTI International.

 

 

She has a strong commitment to learning across all populations, particularly among at-risk populations such as girls and children with special needs. She is experienced in managing and designing projects of all sizes and in developing teacher- and student-focused teaching and learning materials.

 

 

Dr. Bulat manages a distributed team of curriculum development and teacher training technical experts and leads initiatives in early childhood development and upper primary education. In this role, she provides technical support to projects in literacy development, education research, teaching professional development, planning, evaluation, and instruction and pedagogical evaluation. She also draws upon best practices from US-based and global projects to inform learning-improvement programs in low-resource countries.

 

 

A member of RTI’s Global Gender Center, Dr. Bulat also serves as gender and disabilities inclusion expert across international education projects and leads the development of disability inclusion strategies for international education projects in countries such as Nepal, Jordan, and Tanzania.
