What: Each year, RTI honors International Women’s Day by highlighting women's and gender issues around the world. Social entrepreneur Jessica Shortall will be the keynote speaker next week, discussing this year’s theme, #EmbraceEquity. A former Peace Corps volunteer and first Director of Giving at TOMS Shoes, Jessica will speak about her personal experiences working internationally throughout her career to build bridges to equity for all. Following Jessica’s keynote speech, a panel of RTI leaders including Cara Valentino, Darigg Brown and Katherine Kristoffersen will discuss their experiences embracing equity at work and in their communities. This event is hosted by the WALS ERG—North America, the RTI Global Gender Center and the International Development Group.
