Speakers

  • Dr. Lissette Saavedra is a Research Psychologist in the Mental Health, Risk & Resilience Program with more than 20 years of experience in mental health and lifespan developmental psychology research. Dr. Saavedra has broad expertise in mental health services research and has worked on evaluation of efficacy and effectiveness clinical trials funded by the National Institute of Drug Abuse, National Institutes of Mental Health, National Institute of Alcohol and Alcohol Abuse and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • Dr. Ye Pogue is a Research Economist within the Specialty Care for Seriously Ill Populations program. Dr. Pogue has broad experience with developing Medicare claims–based quality measures and evaluating quality of care in healthcare. In total, Dr. Pogue has more than 10 years of experience working with healthcare datasets, and leading research projects. She is an expert in health service research regarding mental illnesses and other behavioral health conditions, in addition to health equity-related analyses.
